The Artist
I am a solo artist who creates detailed illustrations of fantasy, sci-fi, and myths. I started painting in 1997, and I focus on making believable scenes that feel alive. I enjoy building stories one brushstroke at a time for you to enjoy.
I use the Academic Method for oils and acrylics along with Corel Painter for concepts and full-color digital character design. I like mixing old and new tools, embracing new tech while respecting traditional painting methods.
THE ARCHITECTURAL SPIRITS
MYTHOLOGICAL ROOTS
I find inspiration in the old stories of Greek, Norse, and Eastern cultures. I view these myths not only as grand legends, but also as simple ways to understand our world.
Character Design
I love designing characters and thinking about who they are. I like to imagine and invent the lives and worlds the inhabit.
FANTASY REALM
I love fantasy because it is fun. I paint dragons, castles, odd creatures from other worlds, warriors and princesses. I'm not interested in some deep philosophical meaning behind why I like fantasy. I just create things I think are fun to look at and dream about.
